Description
Templeton & Partners is currently working with a large investment bank in Warsaw to look for an experienced Scrum Master.
Initial 6-12 months contract with possible extension.
The Task:
The Scrum Master is responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum and Lean-Agile practices.
Scrum Masters do this by helping everyone understand Scrum and Lean-Agile theory, practices, rules, and values.
Scrum Masters help those outside the Scrum Team understand which of their interactions with the Scrum Team are helpful and which aren't.
The Scrum Master helps everyone change these interactions to maximize the value created by the Scrum Team.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Protecting the team from interruptions and external interferences, keeping the team focused within the context of the project vision and goals
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
- Facilitating the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the process being followed by the team
- Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog.
- Working actively in the Guild of Scrum Masters.

Training
Business, Economics, Law, Computer sciences, technology engineering
Mandatory Skills
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban. Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, etc. Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team. The experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: various Burndown technologies, many Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.). Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Desired Skills
Strong grounding in a technology role and solid background in Markets notably the eFX Market. Proven track record of successfully delivering a similar role for a global financial institution
Technology based FX/eFX background
Proficiency in dealing with technology vendors and in particular familiar with those in the eFX Market and the eFX contractors market
Networking in the eFX Market both from the technology and business perspective
E2E knowledge of the FX workflow - e to FO to BO including legal/compliance

- Atlasian Tools: JIRA y Confluence. Microsoft Office 365 (Forms, Sharepoint, Teams...), Continuous integration tools (Jenkins...) testing automation (Cucumber, Junit, Concordion,...)
