Data Business Analyst- Initial 3-6-month contract- UK Based.

I am currently working with a global engineering and services leader who are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join their team for an initial 3-6-month contract which could extend.

This will be temporarily remote working then will be onsite at one of the following locations once lockdown restrictions have been lifted: Manchester, Birmingham, Sudbury-on-Thames, or Cork.

The role:
As a Data Business Analyst, you will be joining an enterprise project team where you will review and define data and process flows, source systems and transformation rules to help feed data from various IT systems into an enterprise data lake which will provide the business with consistent view on its performance across the globe. This assignment is focused on developing an Enterprise Service KPIs Dashboard.

Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with the IT Business Partner to provide inputs into business case.
*Define use cases along with the necessary detail and align them with the project plan.
*Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) if any change of processes, rules/procedures is required to fit into the Enterprise Dashboard scope.
*Support delivery team in analysing solution options to align with the rest of the company.
*Support preparing UAT scenarios.
*Analyse feedback from tests and exceptions, if any.
*Supports business stakeholders in data cleansing and business change activities.

Experience needed:
*Experienced Data Business Analyst with at least 2 years of proven delivery complex data projects on an international scale.
*Expert knowledge of data analysis, data quality issues resolution to prepare for an enterprise level reporting/dashboarding when data come from various diverse source systems.
*Excellent business process analysis and Business Change Management skills.
*Experience working with Developers or Business SMEs in complex Matrix multicultural organisation.
*Great analytical skills and interpersonal skills to interact with various business process representatives.
*Process and data flow design documentation experience using flow charts.
*Ability to articulate business rules and requirements to a development team (and vice versa: IT requirements to the business) to support the solution acceptance.
*Overall awareness on Project Management practices and principles.
*Great verbal and written communications skills. English language to a business proficiency level.
*Data/BA certification
