DevOps Engineer | Outside IR35 | Remote
I am currently supporting a digital E-commerce business that is looking for a DevOps engineer on an OUTSIDE IR35, 6-month contract basis.
You will be working in an agile team helping migrate and manage existing cloud-based infrastructure to a Docker-based solution using the latest tools and technologies.
I am looking for someone who is happy to take full ownership of the platform not necessarily someone who is looking to work on defined projects (there will be small projects to manage throughout the contract).
Skills/Experience
- Cloud experience, ideally AWS but hands-on experience with GCP/Azure will also be useful
- Container orchestrators like ECS, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
- Infrastructure as code tools like Terraform/Ansible
- Jenkins
- Database knowledge, eg MySQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ
- Scripting experience, specifically Bath and Python
This will be a long-term contract as the client are looking for someone to take full ownership of the platform and upcoming projects.
It will be outside IR35, Remote (SW-based engineers would be a bonus) and paying circa £400p/d.
