Service Transition Project Manager, £650pd, 3 months initially, Milton Keynes
One of our long-standing clients based in Milton Keynes are currently looking for a seasoned Project Manager who will lead in a service transition and deployment project. The company is currently going through a transition and they need top talent to join them on this journey.
The purpose for this role is to lead the delivery of the deployment and service transition activities.
Key responsibilities:
* Project planning in a multi-disciplinary and a commercial environment
* Deal with stakeholders
* Manage and coordinate virtual teams in a Matrix environment including management of 3rd party on/off shore resource.
* Developing and gaining agreement of the project plan, and providing regular progress reports to key stakeholders, as well as all general project communications.
* Ensure the delivery is in line with governance structure and plans are in place to account for those processes.
Essential experience:
* Demonstrated experience in running large scale, cross functional projects including the execution as well as planning
* Strong organisation skills, with excellent time management, leadership and adaptability
* IT skills: Microsoft software package (Office 365 Enterprise) and project management tools
* Strong decision-making ability/understanding and conflict resolution
* Change management & transition
