Description
Our client is looking for a Lead Engineer who will be be responsible for the delivery of engineering solutions for around 45 engineers based in Stockholm and Berlin.
The assignment will also include:
Be Part of the domain management team leading 150 people across 4 groups and 19 teams.
Be accountable for the quality of engineering processes and solutions within the domain
Leading the group of competence reports towards success
Creating the strategic and tactical plans to develop the competence
Driving excellence through development of Competence Mastery Framework, standards and best practices
Planning and executing activities or sessions to drive skills development and knowledge sharing
Challenging people to take their next step in their irregular career path
Leading and developing other leaders in the competence
Defining KPIs for measuring progress and success for the competence
Managing competence budget and ensuring it is used effectively and according to the plan
Running competence meetings
Required skills:
Work experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department
Experience from leading other leaders
Hands-on engineering experience
Good understanding of agile methodologies
Leadership abilities with a strategic mind
BSc/MSc in Computer Science or relevant field
