Length: 6 Months
The primary focus of this role is working with key technology (IT/OT) and operations stakeholders to develop, execute and oversee Cloud roadmap for all Client sites with emphasis on modern IoT platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
Good scripting/automation capabilities with at least two of major scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
Participate in the development of the company's DevOps and Cloud frameworks
Perform DevOps and Cloud-related kick-off activities for new projects and assume responsibility for Cloud Computing and Cloud Platform roadmap.
Plan, orchestrate and execute related initiatives and projects.
Manage involved resources such as Project Manager.
Shape Cloud-IoT vision and strategy together with business and IT teams.
Develop and maintain Cloud Computing Reference Architecture with emphasis on IoT and IIoT (Industrial-IoT), Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and blueprints tailored to organizational requirements.
Design, build and operate enterprise Cloud platforms leveraging modern technologies for operating, integrating, connecting assets and data from various applications across production facilities.
Define, secure funding and deliver Proof-of-Values (PoV) with the objective to evaluate vendors and products to identify fit-for-purpose candidates for enterprise-wide rollouts.
Act as subject matter expert and technical escalation point for Cloud Computing and Cloud Platform, IoT and Industry 4.0 related topics including: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, IoT platform, Cloud & Edge computing, IoT hardware, sensors, connectivity, networking, integration, etc.
Educate organization about capabilities.
Support the development and evolution of Cyber Security maturity across the organization.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline is strongly preferred for this role.
A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven solid cloud architecture and best practices skill with cloud IaaS (AWS is preferred)
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and micro-services - Design, Architecture, Solution Design.
CI/CD experience (automate build, packaging, test pipelines and deployments with Jenkins, git)
Terraform and Ansible / Chef Puppet experience
Solid Linux systems skill of CentOS/RHELs7+ or ubuntu required, MS Windows Server (2016) a plus
Strong business acumen and customer service orientation are necessary for success in this role.
