Lead Cloud Architect (m/f/d)
Role description
- Understand business units overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions using IaaS, PaaS and DevOps & Advanced Application coding
- Apply technical knowledge and customers' insights to create cloud modernization roadmaps
- Architecting solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies, and Application Development and DevOps technologies as appropriate
- Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
- Develop deep relationships with key IT decision makers inside customer architecture and engineering teams, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their IT departments to enable them to be cloud advocate
- Leading Cloud Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Azure platform
Skills required
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or comparable education/experience)
- Over 10 years of professional experience
- Lead Architect with a forward-thinking collaborative style of technical leadership
- Must be able to lead via influence across the customer organization
- Enterprise architecture and related architecture skills
- Excellent understanding of application development
- Good understanding of operational needs and organizational risk management
- Experienced communicator both written & verbal and strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence in servant leadership style
- Strong analytical & conceptual skills
- Ability to motivate others and readiness for close teamwork across multiple locations
- Fluent English skills
