Head of Devops - Cloudera Hadoop Programme
Home Based - Travel Expected post Covid
£750 a day plus expenses - Initial 6 Month Contract, extensions Expected.
We are working with a Large UK Consultancy who are urgently looking for a Head of Devops with Cloudera/Hadoop experience to lead the Programme Team on the implementation of Big Data solutions supporting a large scale digital transformation programme.
Required experience and skills:
- Previous experience in a similar Leadership team in a Devops environment
- experience in large scale Cloudera Hadoop implementations
- experience in defining DevOps solutions supporting Big Data programmes utilising wide range of technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- experience in cloud based, multi-tenant, federated architecture
- good knowledge of Cloudera Hadoop distribution
- CCA administrator certification will be beneficial
- any experience with Hortonworks will be an advantage
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
This is an Urgent requirement so immediate start is a must. In return the client will offer a starting day rate of at least £750 for 6 months.
