SAP WM-EWM Sr Consultant required to join a project based in Portugal.

The candidate has to have experience on:

Module MM/EWM

• Good knowledge logistic flow in Industrial Machinery Industry (production of Machinery)
• Portuguese as fluent
• Inbound process:
• Good receipt from purchased order and production order
• Putaway
• Internal movements
• Picking for production
• Material staging
• Kanban
• Outbound process

• picking for delivery

According this skill the EWM knowledge should be:

• Standard Inbound Processes, consisting on the following steps:
• Creating inbound documents
• Multi steps processes: Counting, Deconsolidation, Putaway
• Determination of Deconsolidation relevance according standard features (different destination storage types and Activity Areas)
• Standard Outbound Process:
• Multi steps process: Picking, VAS Execution, Packing (Consolidation), Staging, Loading and Good Issue
• Determination of best putaway bin based on standard putaway strategiesBin management
• Utilization of standard tools for Production integration:
• Standard process for Kit to Stock scenario
• Standard process for Staging & Consumption of components
• Standard process for Receiving from Production
• Picking interfaces (ie pick to light)

The fit-gap document should help the Group to choose between the Rollout of the SAP Global Template (WM based) or the necessity to go to advanced solutions (EWM, not present in this moment in the global template). In order to do this fit-gap analysis, some meetings will be organized between this consultant and my WM/EWM expert in Italy who knows the SAP Global Template.
