M365 Collaboration Expert/Unified Comms Expert

London/Remote

To £550, 12 month contract

M365 Subject matter expert on unified collaboration opportunity has arisen to join a financial services organisation. The overall objective of this role is to improve user experience and productivity with Microsoft 365 technologies. With the increasing criticality of remote and agile working for some time to come, this requirement has been accelerated to reflect the priority.

The role is to transform how the business utilises Microsoft products and services. The collaboration objective is designed to unify products and services with an overall aim to standardise and simplify data sharing, video conferencing, productivity tools and more.

You will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation and support of Microsoft solutions and exhibit strong change management, documentation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide common products, lead business change and drive adoption of M365 product suite and how to use the technology for safe and reliable collaboration - examples, team communication channels and home sites, Real Time editing and collaborating on documents in Real Time.
  • Develop and implement collaboration patterns with third parties and external stakeholders
  • Review the products and end user services available and deliver a road map for convergence
  • Review and propose solutions for integrated telephony and unified collaboration tools

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering similar change for mid-large firms
  • Detailed knowledge of the Microsoft 365 product suite
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Manage Microsoft 365 changes and train other service delivery team members
  • Monitor and report on Microsoft office 365 utilisation
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture to provide proposal support and scope definition
  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) resource for other service delivery areas
  • Working with internal IT solutions teams, implement approved technology changes following our standards and best practices
  • Provide hand-off to other service delivery areas prior to project closure
  • Assist in training end-users during all upgrade phases
  • Support in providing resolution and reactive support requests during service transition
