Fruition IT are partnering with a large Client to find them a Head of Engineering to assist to steer the technical direction of the organisation.

This Head of Engineering opportunity involves assisting to determine the technical direction in one of the largest digital transformations happening in the UK. Our Client is looking for someone with a wealth of experience to help to lead a critical part of the project, to understand where the organisation is at and how to assist in the technical/
software transformation.
What will I be doing?
This Head of Engineer's responsibilities include liaising with Vendors and Third-Party Suppliers to understand current applications and software and how best to select and establish frameworks to deliver high-quality projects on time and to budget. You'll be developing relationships to ensure that process are automated to a high standard and that key targets are met.
What do I need?
You need a solid background and an understanding of software development management and the full software life cycle as well as experience in delivering projects or transformations to time and on budget. Knowledge of Agile/DevOps practices is essential and if you've delivered cloud migrations in the past that's a big plus! You should also have a wealth of experience working commercially with IT partners and software vendors.
