Apex Martini Developer C++ - Repo FIS APEX Investment Banking

Proven experience with the FIS APEX Toolkit. Extensive Repo product knowledge

C++ Apex Martini developer - C++ to design and develop new pieces of software, to enhance existing software to provide new functionality requested by the business and to correct bugs.

Key Skills:-

  • C++ (Visual Studio 2015) and C#.NET 4.6.1 in a Windows environment
  • STL/XML
  • FIS APEX Toolkit (formerly Sungard Martini)
  • CppUnit for unit testing
  • Python and Robot for automated regression testing
  • Oracle 12c, SQL and stored procedures
  • STL and Boost
  • SVN
  • XML/FiML/SQL/MQ (Messaging)
  • SQL on a relational database
  • High level of motivation
  • Good communication skills

Day to day responsibilities:

  • As a developer, main responsibilities will be to design and develop new pieces of software, to enhance existing software to provide new functionality requested by the business and to correct bugs. For the majority of projects Business Analysts provide specifications for the developers to work with.

Highly desirable skills

  • Fixed Income knowledge (Bonds, Futures, Repo, Secondary Loans)
  • C#
  • FIS APEX Toolkit (former Sungard Martini) toolkit
  • Oracle

Previous Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in C++.
  • Extensive experience with multithreaded development
  • Extensive Experience with multi-process architectures
  • Experience in working within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries.
  • A strong level of autonomy is required, as well as pro-activeness and curiosity.
