Job title: Change and Configuration Analyst - inside IR35
Badenoch + Clark is supporting one of its key Public Sector clients who is looking to engage with an Change and Configuration Analyst for an initial 3 month contract with a very strong possibility of extension. In this role, you will carry out a variety of IT system support tasks, primarily providing end-to-end support of new and existing Personal Awards schemes via software configuration of the Academy Research Management and Information System (ARAMIS).
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day consultation, training, instruction, trouble-shooting, problem-solving to users of the IT services, liaising with suppliers to resolve issues within service levels
* Identify and address complex usability problems and service risks
* Provide software configuration in the Forms Designer of the Academy Research Management and Information System (ARAMIS).
* Maintain data within the ARAMIS system ensuring compliance with data standards
* Support testing and releases of IT change to the ARAMIS Grant Tracker system
* Manage day to day change requests
* Develop and provide staff training for IT systems
* Develop, implement and maintain IT related documentation and policies
* Accurately manage changes and audits of the IT asset inventory and ensure software licensing compliance.
* Participate in and where appropriate lead working groups, working closely with the award teams to ensure the IT service is managed and maintained.
* Ensure accuracy and data quality within systems
* Provision of project support for new development
* Production of Reports (incidents and changes)
* Development and maintenance of training user guides
To be considered for the role you will have the follow:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience within an information and configuration related role
* ITIL (IT Service Management) Foundation level accreditation or demonstrable equivalent experience
* Significant demonstrable IT service support and/or software change and configuration experience working within an IT service management team
* Understanding of information management systems
* Experience of negotiating with suppliers and third parties
* Experiencing of working in and across a team
This role will fall in scope for IR35 so will require candidates to work via an Umbrella Company or PAYE.
This role is for an immediate start so is suitable to candidates who are immediately available or available at short notice.
