Lead Architect - Security/Technology
Bristol/Remote
£710 per day (inside IR35)
6 Month initial
We are looking for a versiltle Lead Architect to support a global IT transformation programme specifically within the Security and technology areas.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop architecture strategies, principles, patterns, policies and standards relevant to the technology/security domain and programme delivery.
- Govern technology/security solutions delivered against agreed principles, patterns, policies and standards.
- Ensure the architecture development process is followed in the development of technology/security architecture.
- Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture knowledge base, including models, reference architectures and architectural views supporting the technology/security domain.
- Direct contribution to the development of RFI/RFP documentation, vendor engagement and vendor selection.
- Provide consultancy support to strategic decision making through the use of architectural models.
- Definition of target architectures for technology & security in support of strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Assess and communicate the impacts trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of proposed options.
Skills & Experience
- Essential - experience in the role as an lead architect aligned with security and technology in a global organisation
- Experience leading/managing an architecture team
- TOGAF Certification preferred
- Architectural experience of:
- Azure
- Networks (primarily Cisco)
- Connectivity (Lan, Wan, Wifi, PSTN, Internet, etc)
- Cyber Security
- Identity
- Compute, including Onprem, co-location, IaaS, managed services
- End User Compute (Modern Management - Autopilot, Intune)
- Microsoft Collaboration & Productivity Suite
- Service Desk
- Systems Management
