Developer, Core Java, Angular, Elastic, AWS, Hedge Fund
There is a new role with a top-tier, global Hedge Fund, looking to hire a senior Java Developer to work in a 60/40 Back End/Front End Development role.
The role is to join a global team working on a greenfield Reference Data platform implementation, designing and building new applications from scratch in line with business requirements. The project is expected to last a minimum of two years on a rolling 6-monthly basis.
The tech-stack is Core Java and Angular, in a hybrid on-prem/AWS environment leveraging Kafka, Big Data and DevOps tech to deliver one of the largest Reference Data implementations within the buy-side. The role is a senior position working closely with the business stakeholders and global leads, designing and developing a series of new applications from scratch.
The role is to work NYC hours; 1:30pm/2pm - 10:30pm.
You must have the following skills to be considered:
- Strong background in Core Java
- Knowledgeable around complex Java programming eg: Multithreading
- Commercial experience coding in Angular
- Any wider knowledge coding in AWS is preferred but not essential.
Rate is negotiable up to £700/day via Umbrella.
