Senior Service Designer - Outside IR35 - Betting & Gaming

Remote then London based - 3 month contract initially

Senior Service Designer who has owned an E-commerce Service Design transformation eg been accountable for service design for b2c web sites and apps. Experienced at setting a vision (what's best in class service design) and owns the strategy.

Responsible for the creation of services across Data, Analytics and Digital Platforms. This involves designing practical, functional and desirable services mapped with business objectives and technology roadmaps. You will gather and utilise business and customer insights, and reframe service challenges, articulate opportunities, define strategies, create concepts and lead the development of new services from initial brief to delivery.

You want to define and build solutions that create competitive advantage for customers and provide unique experiences to end-users. You combine human, business and technology viewpoint. You are familiar with user research, mapping user experiences and customer journeys as well as leading service design workshops, idea generation and proof of concepts

We are looking for an exceptional individual to contribute to our end-to-end Data and Digital technology product management efforts, to support the development of innovative and industry-changing technology services and products placed at the heart of our business divisions.

What You Will Bring To The Team

Following mix of essential technical and leadership experience:

  • Set up a Service design function before.
  • Working closely with Marketing teams to review customer trends from client websites and apps to be able to provide personalised effective marketing plans.
  • Able to lead design groups and workshops (20 - 30 people)
  • Strong technical experience in the areas of cloud, big data, machine learning, APIs, scalability, performance and reliability.
  • Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding communications ability to a diverse audience, including C-level executives, product and technical stakeholders.
  • Broad domain knowledge of data management and state of the art Cloud data and analytics technologies
  • Strong customer centric mindset.
