Outline of the Role:
Experience working in 24x7 complex, highly-secure, highly-available, datacenter environments operating within the realms of strict Change Management processes.
Candidates must be client focused, able to work independently while interacting across different teams to accomplish projects.
Experience with supporting Open Systems, Enterprise SAN and NAS solutions
Experience with UNIX (Linux, AIX, Solaris), VMware or other hypervisors, and Windows operating environments
Experience with storage configuration, volume management and path management software tools (LVM, Native MPIO, EMC PowerPath).
Experience with disaster recovery as it relates to storage systems and data recovery techniques, including disk replication, snapshots and disaster recovery best practices.
Intermediate analysis and troubleshooting skills for the end-to-end storage and backup stack (VMs, hosts, SAN Switches, Storage devices)
