Solution Consultant/Architect - Java
GBP daily rate (inside IR35)
Remote working - 6 months +

Myles Roberts are currently looking to bring onboard a Solution Consultant/Architect to work with a large, global banking client. Working closely with engineering, architecture, product and business units, you will develop a new feature, support new or existing customers or roadmap prioritisation and improvements in order to help developers with the design, implementation, integration and configuration of security, encryption, micro-services and API's. You will assist and manage POC and demo's to management and stakeholders, providing custom implementation, estimations, exact requirements and either manage developers to implement it or implement yourself.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer/Architect with software engineering, customer experience and design architecture, and the ability to take a project from concept stage through production.
- Experience in developing IT and cloud infrastructure, proficiency with one or more object-oriented language including Java.
- Experienced in applying SOLID and other architectural principles to designs and code
- Experience in applying best practices regarding system security measures, and implementing security software development life cycles
- Assisted other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demoing them to other members of the team and stakeholders
- Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and high-level communication skills
