Infrastructure Solution Architect
Our client, A leading global supplier for IT services, requires a Solution Architect-Infrastructure to join their team in their clients' office in London. You can work remotely until Covid abates.
This is 6 months temporary contract, to start on 15th April 2021.
Key Skills Required:
- Good written and verbal communication
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Active participation in a maturing architecture practice/community
- Be confident in presenting network solutions and strategy to both and IT and business audiences
- The ability to understand complex concepts and communicate them in a simple manner
- The ability to communicate well on both a business and technical level, to all levels of the organization
- Experience as Solution Architect on a large scale implementation
- The jobholder must have a thorough understanding of the security threat landscape, significant risks, technical developments and directions
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the jobholder must be able to operate effectively at all levels within and outside of Customer environment
- Demonstrable experience of working in a network architecture team including the production of design documentation (HLDs, LLDs, blueprints etc.)
- Experience of network systems
- Ability to harness the commitment and contribution of team members outside of direct span of control
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to conduct research into security technical platforms and evaluate capabilities
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- A Self Starter with the ability to lead and drive change through an organisation
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence decisions with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with patterns, practices and frameworks of Enterprise Architecture particularly technical design assurance
- Be a business-focussed, creative, innovative pragmatic and positive team player
- Ownership and Delivery - Has a clear focus to deliver results, working to targets, reviewing progress and adapting their plans accordingly, motivating themselves/the team to achieve

Key Responsibilities:
The work stream is called "IT Hygiene and Resilience", for FY21 there are 4 projects in the plan for delivery:
1.Tech Stack Evolution project (aka Harden Infrastructure phase 2 project)
2.Network Discovery project
3.Backup and Revery phase 1 project
4.ITSM-CMDB project
