ServiceNow CMDB Developer - inside iR35
We are heading up a recruitment drive on behalf of a global IT consultancy that require a ServiceNow CMDB Developer to join their team on a major telecoms project that is based remotely.
Maintain the configuration management database (CMDB) and related system documentation, implement approved changes to CMDB structure including attributes and relationships.
Plan, schedule and perform independent audits and audits on the CMDB, comparing contents with the IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with the customer to ensure requirements are met and ensure the CMDB integrity.
Produce and publish management reports from CMDB.
Provide executive support to the Configuration Management Board, including scheduling meetings, developing agendas, assisting project managers who are on the agenda and assisting the Chair.
Install, maintain and troubleshoots problems related to Configuration Control Board action items/issues.
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions, ability to monitor self, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Collaborate with team to create and implement the configuration management plan.
Identify and maintain all assets and features associated with the configuration items (CIs).
Conduct configuration audits, correct issues as required, and identify process improvement opportunities.
Ensure the accuracy of CIs within database
Implementation of CMDB and around rules as well integration with CI discovery tools
Knowhow of ITOM ñ Discovery, Service Mapping
