Material Management Functional Consultant:

Our client, A leading global supplier for IT services, requires a Material Management Functional Consultant in our client's office in Brentford. You can work remotely until Covid abates.

This is 6 months temporary contract, to start on 12th April 2021.

The right candidate must have 4+ years of Experience in Implementation/Enhancement/Upgrade/Rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional Consultant for rollout, implementation, Template improvement & localization

Key Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Experience in Implementation/Enhancement/Upgrade/Rollout
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Material Management fundamentals and needs to have Clear understanding of Procure-to-pay cycle, Purchasing, PO/PR Release Strategy, External Services Management, Master Data, Message Output, Price Determination Inventory management and Special Procurement processes
  • Setting up of MM Org structures, MM SAP Configurations: Pricing Procedures, Account Determination, Inventory Movement, Message types, text determination, Release strategies, MM Documents types, Item categories
  • Knowledge about Intercompany Process, Scheduling Agreement, ALE/IDOC Processing & Workflow process
  • Should understand the integration to other modules like SD, FI, WM and APO
  • Must be well conversant in working on Incident, Problem, Change Management and Release Management processes and exposure to Remedy/HPALM tool would be added advantage
  • Gather/document functional requirements and translate functional needs into technical solution
  • Strong knowledge in business requirement gathering, Test Scripts/Case preparation, Unit testing and Integration testing & Independent handling
  • Should demonstrate possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess the ability to respond to detailed queries and work proactively
  • Experience in working in a global and cross-team environment
  • Ability to work independently - identify problems, initiate follow-up to final resolution
  • Ability to meet realistic timelines for deliverables
  • Client Facing and good communication skills and a team player
