My client, a multinational designer and manufacturer of semiconductors, chips and wireless technology components, is seeking to hire an experienced Hardware Engineer to join their Product and Test engineering department on an initial 6 month daily rate contract role based in Cambridge. This role is responsible for the building, debugging and maintenance of production test hardware.
The Job:
- Build, debug and maintain production test hardware
- Maintain and repair test equipment
- Soldering SMT components of 0201 sizing
- Help identify design features or product flaws
- Troubleshooting where required
Have you:
- 2+ years experience with circuit SMT debugging (digital, analog, RF, etc)
- 2+ years experience with hardware design and measurement instruments
- Ability to install equipment weighting up to 15KG
