Principle Technical Lead - Hedge Fund - (£1000 - £1200 a Day)
I'm looking for a Principle Tech Lead with senior advanced Python or C# programming skills to join a Hedge Fund in London that trades commodities such as Energy, Power and Gas. The Lead programmer will already be working for Energy Trading Firms or other financial services. The lead application developer will be managing a small team as well as hands on development. The principle tech engineer will be working on exciting greenfield projects in the Power Trading division. The Principle Technical Lead can be skilled in either Python or C#. We are based in the heart of London near multiple restaurants and coffee shops.
This is a 6 months contract and initially remote till further notice. You will be leading a small team of developers on a trading desk. The lead software engineer will be responsible for providing technical guidance as well as developing clean code.
Are you Python or C# Lead Programmer?
If so this may be the role that your looking for. This a chance to spread innovative ideas and write complex code to assist the teams deadlines. As well as driving exciting projects for the Fund. This role would suit a Lead software developer who has worked alongside traders and previously built trading applications.
We are looking for exceptional talent therefore the rate is reflected on this. Otherwise the rate is flexible.
Skills: The ideal candidate will have most of the following skills below
- Advanced Python or C# programming skills (One of these codes is essential)
- Managing a small team of software developers
- Support Agile software development: Continuous delivery, automated testing, pair programming code review, etc.
- Worked in trading environments - developing complex business oriented functionality with limited or fluid requirements
- Passionate about writing clean code and finding solution for complex problems
- Git-Hub experience
- Front Office trading experience (Essential)
