DevOps Engineer
Southend-On-Sea (Remote)
Circa £500 per day inside IR35
6 months initially
A DevOps Engineer is required for a government client for a 6 month contract.
The candidate will have an opportunity to work in a DevOps engineering team delivering and enhancing an interesting service in Amazon Web Services.
This will involve automating, deploying and managing its microservices, their underlying native AWS services and infrastructure, to ensure availability, performance and scalability.
Key skills required
-Software development experience in key DevOps-related languages - Java.
- Development of RESTful APIs
- Extensive Linux administration skills
- Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
- Continuous delivery and operational readiness with a focus on observability
- Strong experience in the use of Terraform
