Description

Network SME SSL VPN:

Our client, A leading global supplier for IT services, requires a Scrum Master to join their team in their clients' office in Leamington Spa/Gaydon. You can work remotely until Covid abates.

This is 6 months temporary contract, to start on 1st April.

The right candidate must be able to commute between sites and hold a valid UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and designing reliable powerful, and flexible security architectures for Security Technologies like SSL VPN, Authentication Methods (SAML,3rd Party)
  • Network Security Design review, preparation of High-Level Design and Low-Level Design
  • Providing technical guidance and supervision for projects
  • Network Administration, and support of wider network environment in a mission critical and highly available environment
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure security architectures, solutions, processes, frameworks, and components
  • System technical documentation for existing and new builds/configuration
  • Co-ordination with Suppliers/3rd Parties from technical design perspective

Key requirements:

  • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework around SSL VPN technologies
  • The resource should have implemented at least 4-5 projects in customer live environment. Experience with Network refresh/upgrade projects
  • Should be able to create HLD & LLD documents and should be able to draw architecture as per customer needs
  • Should have hands Firewall & Security Technologies (Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Cisco ASA VPN, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, VMware NSX)
  • Working knowledge of authentication systems such as SAML, SSO, LDAP and MS Active Directory
  • Deep understanding of IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols
  • Experience with Proxy and SSL is essential.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity technologies, protocols, and applications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is must.
  • Network LAN/WAN knowledge and hands on experience
  • Troubleshooting skills for Cisco Environment in quick time (Nexus Switches (1000v, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, and 9000), Cisco Enterprise Routers 3900, 3800 & LAN Switches 3700, 3500, 2900 series) and CAT OS.
  • Knowledge of Firewalls particularly Cisco ASA
  • Knowledge of BIGIP F5 Load-Balancers.
  • Strong Communication and Documentation Skills.
  • Client Facing skills.
  • Must be able to commute between sites and hold valid driving license.
  • 7+ years experience desirable
  • The role may require some level of on-call/weekend support depending on project's schedule.
  • Any such extended or weekend support to be communicated well in advance.
