Network Engineer, Cisco, ACI Multi-pod, Data Centre LAN's, DMZ, Cisco ASA, Cisco FirePOWER, Checkpoint and Fortinet
Requires good WAN, Cisco ACI Leaf Spine topologies. Helping to engineer & implement ACI in Network Centric mode in two new datacenters. ACI Multi-pod experience required with a stretched fabric between datacenters. Required to Engineer and re-engineer remote Office LAN's, DMZ and Data Centre LAN. Routing and Switching (R&S), WAN accelerators (Riverbed) and security components such as Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco FirePOWER, Checkpoint and Fortinet), IPS, CSM, ACS, RSA, NAC/ISE.
Role involves
Provide expertise in relation to the deployment of Wide Area Networks and the oversight of Cisco ACI Leaf Spine topologies. Assist third party to implement ACI in Network Centric mode in two new datacenters where the applicant will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of ACI and will have previously implemented technologies such as ACI Multi-pod with a stretched fabric between datacenters.
To engineer and re-engineer the CLS Global Network; incorporating the Wide Area Network, Remote Office LAN's, DMZ and Data Centre LAN. This extends to routing and Switching (R&S), WAN accelerators (Riverbed) and security components such as Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco FirePOWER, Checkpoint and Fortinet), IPS, CSM, ACS, RSA, NAC/ISE, as well as the ACI fabric and any other component that resides within the network and security area.
The role is predominantly project focused with design and implementation at the forefront and should include authoring and/or maintaining governance documentation such as High Level Designs and Technical Appraisals whilst writing and maintaining internal documentation, such as low level design, technical implementation and verification plans. The role is very much hands on' so whilst must have a strong technical knowledge around the design, also needs to be able to implement this or direct others to implement, remotely via a WebEx. The ability to use Visio for network schematics is essential. This role will form part of team who are subject matter experts in fields such as Storage, Windows, VMWare and Citrix.
