Marketing Data Analyst

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Marketing Data Analyst based in London for an initial 4 month contract.

Job Details:
Our client is looking for a Data Marketing Analyst with experience in digital marketing to help support a team tasked with delivering enterprise-level measurement of marketing activity for one of the world largest advertisers.

In this role, you will work as part of an Embedded client team to define a requirements-gathering process that will define the specifications for a new solution to measure the success of marketing activations from multiple brands across the globe. If you have an understanding of digital marketing and experience of documenting requirements from diverse stakeholder groups in large-scale organisations, this role is for you.

Main Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders and end users, with a view to defining an ideal future state.
- Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
- Define a requirements-gathering process that is innovative and engaging to maximise stakeholder input.
- Clearly identify key stakeholder groups, building on an existing user persona framework, as well as their characteristics.
- Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, and other methods as appropriate.
- Work with stakeholders, project team, and other SMEs (eg, UX specialists) to prioritise collected requirements.
- Develop and utilise standard templates to accurately and concisely document requirements specifications.
- Translate conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.

Key Experience:
- Degree in the field of business administration, finance, or information systems.
- Experience of conducting requirements gathering processes in large scale organisations with diverse stakeholder bases, including requirements analysis, elicitation, documentation and methodology development.
- Experience with digital marketing performance data and performance dashboards using PowerBi.
- Experience of working with UX specialists to design user-facing systems.
- Experience of working as a Product Owner or in a Product Management role is advantageous.
- Knowledgeable in agile Project Management methodologies and software development processes is advantageous.
- Experience of conducting requirements gathering processes in large scale organisations with diverse stakeholder bases, including requirements analysis, elicitation, documentation and methodology development.
- Experience with digital marketing performance data and performance dashboards using PowerBi.
- Experience of working with UX specialists to design user-facing systems.
