Role: Java Engineer
Location: Remote
Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
Length: 6 months

Austin Fraser are currently working with a highly successful, London-based business who are urgently looking for x2 Java Engineers to join them on their latest greenfield project!
This will be a 6 month contract initially but with the opportunity for multiple extensions beyond this.
You will be working fully remote in the current situation but when restrictions allow and when it is safe to do so, you may be required to work 2 days on-site in their London office.
We are looking for somebody with the following experience:
- Strong Java
- AWS Experience
- Python (Desirable)
- Java Certifications (Desirable)
- Service based approach to development
- AWS application development using components such as Lambda, Step functions, API Gateway/Swagger, S3, SNS, SQS
- Source control (ideally GIT) with CI
- Maven
- Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
You will be working in a close knit team of passionate Developers and they are looking for a proactive and hardworking Developer who is going to be enthusiastic about the opportunity to join them on their journey and work on some exciting projects.
