Devops Engineer
London Based - Currently remote
£ a day - Initial 6 Month Contract, extensions Expected
We are working with a Large UK Consultancy who are urgently looking for a Devops Engineer with Data experience to assist in the implementation of Big Data solutions supporting a large scale digital transformation programme.
This role requires SC Cleared or clearable candidates ONLY
Required experience and skills:
- experience in defining DevOps solutions supporting Big Data programmes utilising wide range of technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- experience in cloud based, multi-tenant, federated architecture
- any experience with Hortonworks will be an advantage
Mandatory tools:
- Azure/AWS (One or both, depending on other skills we can chose)
- Ansible
- Linux
- Terraform
- Scripting, automation
- Understanding of Active Directory, AD-integration
- Experience with various DBs like Postgres, Oracle etc..
This is an Urgent requirement so immediate or near immediate start is a must. In return the client will offer a starting day rate of at least £500 for 6 months
