The Project Manager will lead a delivery team to ensure the fundamentals of Project Management excellence are achieved, this includes analysis, governance, planning managing finances and delivering value.
The PM will role model a desire to collaborate, demonstrate resilience and adaptability, confidence and a desire to innovate and test new ideas.
The PM will understand, embrace and be able to select with confidence the most appropriate tools and methods to deliver change. They should strive to build relationships across role communities, and business areas to maximise opportunities for continuous improvement through shared learnings.
Job Description
The purpose of the Finance Value Stream (FVS) is to improve end to end finance services to enable LBG to make effective financial decisions. As part of the Insurance Lab, within FVS, we are building a flexible and multi skilled team (based in Bristol) to deliver changes to support the Bank's Insurance & Wealth Division safely, and when they are needed, maximising sustainable value for my client's customers, suppliers, investors and our colleagues
As a Project Manager within the Lab, you will co-ordinate individuals and teams within and outside the Lab to deliver the required initiatives.
Ideally you will have knowledge of the Finance landscape, together with Insurance & Wealth Product knowledge.
This role is to lead an existing project, working with the Insurance Chief and Deputy Actuaries, to ensure successful delivery of PRA related changes in that space. It will also support the mobilisation and delivery of another project in the Actuarial space.
You will manage the safe delivery of change through adhering to governance, robust risk and issue management, and by ensuring strong financial control.

What we need from you:
. You will have demonstrable experience of end to end delivery of multiple and varied changes from project initiation through to implementation and post-live support
. You will ideally have experience of applying the group's project management methodologies and associated governance for change delivery
. You can demonstrate budgetary accountability and understanding of financial control
. You have experience of producing plans in varying formats and levels for difference stakeholder groups
. You will input into regular status reporting highlighting successes and issues to key stakeholders
. You will have the ability to understand complex technical issues and communicate these to a varied group of stakeholders appropriately
