API Architect Business Analyst - OpenAPI YAML Risk Investment Banking
Looking for a multi-skilled candidate, able to work both as a API Architect department with additional Business Analyst skills.
Role Responsibilities:-
- Requirements gathering and functional API architecture design:
- Work with wide range of stakeholders (API technical and Functional Architects, Risk Managers, Business) to understand scope and document business requirements, create a strategic Risk systems API cartography and associated roadmap.
- Use diagrams, document and communicate different aspects of functional architecture to stakeholders
- Design APIs:
- Using OpenAPI/YAML standards, design APIs
- Work closely with the Group API First team, and Risk systems development teams and Product Owners to ensure requirements are understood and solutions are following the Group standards
- Support development, implementation and unit testing:
- Working with the System and Solution Architects, provide estimates for work
- Participate to the testing, sign-off and deployment of the solutions
- Document solutions for maintenance and support
- Technical Support:
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality of the APIs and related monitoring
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Transition:
- Work with RISK SYSTEMS Service Transition and Group API First teams to manage the deployment of new solutions to production environments, including user on-boarding and training as well as supporting the development of operating models
Technical skills and qualifications
- Proven BA and API design experience
- Understanding of Risk, Market and Counterparty Risk disciplines.
- OpenAPI/YAML standard and its ecosystem nice to have
- Understanding API Management principles
- Having experience with Google Apigee would be a plus.
- Unit test and debugging skills are welcome
