Java Engineer - DevSecOps
McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Engineer to join a growing financial services organization at the forefront of technology innovation for a 6 -12 month contract This institution is renowned worldwide and known in the local market for their extremely high calibre of technical teams.
You will be brought into an existing Application Security team in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate commercial security applications into the development pipeline eg. Source Code Scanner, OpenSource scanning tools
- Automatically scans developer code for vulnerabilities and notifies them to review
- Currently use Microfocus (HP) Fortify
- Contract Securities source code scanning tool
- Evaluate new applications for integrating eg Checkmarks(x), Snick and WhiteSource
- Integrate tools into development pipeline
Experience Required:
- Back End Java development
- Linux
- Some DevOps/Enabling DevOps experience would be beneficial
