Senior AWS software engineer
Location: London area (remote)
Job type: contract
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £550-£650 per day
My client is a well-recognised, international software company who are looking for a senior AWS software engineer to join their team.
The main responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to) aiding with technical direction, leading some implementation tasks, and identifying technical requirements.
A successful candidate will be collaborating with employees, sharing knowledge and ideas in order to drive innovation within projects involving exciting and new technology.
Requirements
Must have experience with/knowledge of the following:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- C#, .NET Core, NodeJS and JavaScript
- APIs and Web services
- Cloud SaaS platforms
- Docker/Kubernetes
- GIT/Bitbucket
- CI/CD systems
- Security considerations
- Microservice architectures
- SQL/Database
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Story Pointing, etc)
- Monitoring and logging techniques
Desirable:
- PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Comfortable with Linux environments
- TeamCity experience
- Experience in using Jira
- Experience using Web sockets
