Role: Test Manager
Location: Newbury
Duration: 6 months
Role purpose:
The IoT Test Manager will have the responsibility for assuring quality in Agile SAFE driven project. Shortlisted candidate should have good understanding of monitoring tools used in AWS domain.
Responsibilities include:
- To define the test strategy for NGM, monitoring tool on AWS.
- Test management in AGILE driven projects.
- Close working with development team to implement 100% automation of functional tests.
- Identify the non-functional requirements for testing followed by planning and execution.
- To provide all testing deliverables, progress reports and final results to others IoT teams;
- Assess the areas of manual testing and propose automation wherever possible
- Advise the customer on innovative testing products and solutions
- Improve quality practices across functional and non-functional testing

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- BSc or MSc level degree in Computer Science or Similar;
- Good knowledge and experience with Agile and Safe.
- Professional experience with test leading and coordination;
- International experience in a fast-moving innovative environment (will be valued); Very strong Analytic and Problem-solving skills to be cable of recognising patterns and opportunities for improvements
- Knowledge with tools such as JIRA/Zephyr and Confluence
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- 5+ years of expertise in Test Leading Positions with focus on end-to-end delivery.
- Experience with automation tools and strong ability to choose the best tools and solutions.
- Experience in Agile Test Delivery.
- Supplier and Stakeholder Management Experience.
- Previous experience of Test architect role in IOT domain will be an added advantage
- AWS certification will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Devops tools ie Ansible, Jenkins, Git is nice to have
