Lead Java Engineer required for an open banking porject in Central London.
Our client is one of the Worlds Largest and rapidly growing Banks.
You'll be responsible for Leading engineering teams across various locations to deliver modern consumer facing digital products.
You'll set the standard when establishing technical standards and best practices to be used for Programming languages and Cloud technologies.
Our client will want you to take accountability for the delivery of technical artefacts delivered by engineering teams.
A great part of this role will enable you to Collaborate with others, and guide others on how software fits into the bigger picture.
Skills Required
- Building mobile first', responsive, adaptive single page applications
- Solid awareness of cross-browser/device and cross platform development
- Java 8, Spring Boot, Node JS, Maven, Nefix OSS
- Experience consuming REST APIs and utilising JSON for web or mobile applications
- Experience of working as a Lead DevOps engineer or an AWS Solutions Architect
- Demonstrable experience working with AWS in an engineering or architecture capacity
- Demonstrable experience of designing AWS solutions using a combination of cloud native, 3rd party and on-premise technologies.

- CI/CD - tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus
- Application Monitoring - Splunk, AppDynamics
- Java, NodeJS, Spring Boot and Tomcat
- PaaS/IaaS -Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Mule API gateway
