We have an opportunity for an ETL Developer to work with a group of talented Architects and Developers to create new products for our Public Sector client.The Role
- Actively participate in stand-ups and sprint meetings to understand and communicate requirements clearly.
- Troubleshoot Pentaho Data Integrator server including platform and Tools issues
- Unit Testing work and conducting peer reviews when required.
- Manage code versions and branching using GIT source code repository.
- Use PDI with relational databases.
The Candidate
- Will have experience working with Cloudera Hadoop platforms (eg EDH)
- Strong understanding of the Data Acquisition Ingestion Pipeline.
- Good working knowledge of Pentaho Data Integrator development.
- Experience with using PDI with relational databases.
- Knowledge of Oracle and MySQL.
- An awareness of Software release management of service improvements.
