About the role
To assure safe cutover of operating core solution, including S/4, MDM, OneSource tax engine and Subscriptions.
The S/4 HANA programme is a large and complex programme, which will go live alongside other dependent programmes, such as MDM, Subscriptions, etc. It is important that the cutover to production is planned in meticulous detail, that all dependencies are captured and managed, and that the cutover is de-risked by way of a cutover rehearsal before the cutover is attempted in the live system. This role will plan and execute the cutover.
Responsibilities:
4.1 - Work with both technical and business teams to develop an integrated cutover plan covering all aspects of cutover for S/4, BW4 and associated projects such as MDM, Subscriptions and Onesource.
4.2 - Execute cutover rehearsal and incorporate lessons' learned into the final cutover plan.
4.3 - Co-ordinate the cutover plan execution, reporting progress to senior leadership.
4.4 - Ensure smooth handover into early life support and service transition.
JOB HOLDERS SPECIFICATION:
*Highly experienced cutover lead with multiple full life cycle deployments, including at least one S/4 deployment.
*Strong communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
*Innovative - able to think both analytically and conceptually
*Motivated and dedicated
*Ability to prioritise own and team tasks
*Acts with precision.
5.1 SPECIFIC SKILLS:
*Must have delivered multiple global cutovers into an SAP enabled environment.
*Must have completed at least 1 S/4 cutover.
*Must have delivered cutovers including both technical and business cutover.
*Must have demonstrable experience managing cutovers involving dependent projects.
5.2 EXPERIENCE:
*A minimum of 10 years SAP cutover experience.
*Worked on a Global rollout project across Europe
