Working for the end client on strategic risk systems - this is part of a significant re-engineering programme to improve performance, functionality and to transition to Cloud provisioning. Whilst adding more data mining and data analytics functionality.
- You will contribute to high and low level design, technology and architecture choices.
- Collaborate with other tech teams in the Quant, HPC and infra domains
- mentoring junior developers on best code and design.
- Ideally you will have specific risk/risk management experience from an Investment Bank, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Strong Scala development skills with experience on distributed caching and big data technologies, pref Oracle Coherence/Apache Spark
- experience of containerized and cloud infras (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Demonstrable experience in performance tuning and optimisation of highly scalable distributed applications and enable their scaling.
6 months rolling, inside IR35, £pd Gross.
