Senior Data Loss Prevention Analyst - Inside IR35

We are looking for a Senior DLP Analyst to join one of our clients for a 6 month remote based role.

As the Senior DLP Analyst, you will be key to the success of the Data Loss Prevention and Data Protection functions within our client. Business facing and working proactively with stakeholders and colleagues to proactively define, enforce and problem solving, the corporate data protection/loss strategies.

Experience and Skills

Must Have:

  • Experience on a Security Technical Services and/or Support Operations team preferred. Other relevant security/compliance knowledge in the industry will also be considered.
  • Candidate will exhibit a history of reliability and strong decision-making skills due the trust imparted in them as a senior analyst or senior security practitioner.
  • DLP related monitoring experience desired.
  • Candidate must possess strong analytical skills to identify complex security issues and respond at the same level with a technical understanding of when to escalate impacting security events.
  • Must possess requisite oral communication and writing skills
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of independent work while operating in a geographically and culturally diverse peer group.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience operating Data Loss Prevention, Security Information and Event Management platforms and/or Cloud Access Security Broker platforms a plus.
  • Knowledge of Web and Mail gateway solutions also a plus.
  • High level of Operating System and general IT knowledge
  • Working knowledge of security fundamentals, including Firewalls, Routers and ACLs.
  • Awareness of various regulatory compliances such as privacy/GDPR, HIPPA, PCI, and others.
  • Advanced degree, continuing education, certifications (eg CISSP, BS degree in CS or a related field) considered a plus though not required
