Big Data .NET Developer - Hedge Fund - Outside IR35
Leading Hedge Fund is looking for a very experienced senior .NET Developer who has exceptional on-prem big data understanding to work closely with Front Office and technical team to take an existing SQL Server based trading platform onto MongoDB and significantly scale the data points to billions+ a day.
The successful big data developer will have strong .NET Developer skills, as well as strong SQL Server and on-prem DocumentDB knowledge, ideally MongoDB. The senior .NET Developer will have exceptional big data understanding including time series, and how to manipulate data in multiple dimensions.
Please note, the client is much more interested in your technical knowhow than business knowledge so this could suit a big data consultant from outside of trading.
Very long term contract potential for multiple extensions.
- Strong .NET skills (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong on-prem DocumentDB skills, ideally MongoDB (ESSENTIAL)
- SQL Server (ESSENTIAL)
- computer fundamentals knowledge (ESSENTIAL)
