Description
A fast growing engineering business in Trowbridge is seeking an engineering technician on a 6 month contract to help handle a growing workload. You'll be working as part of a small team both on product and production. Ideally, you'll come from a regulated industry, be happy to get your hands dirty, and have some experience with testing/
validation/verification.
Here's nitty gritty:
Location: Trowbridge
Rate: £20-£22/hr (Outside IR35)
Length: 6 months
Day-to-day duties (you don't have to have experience in all of them):
Calibration,
Maintenance records
Pilot line servicing and tool changes
CAD changes, Changing artwork, label sourcing
Basic doc updates
Various running of V&V protocols, instrument and cartridge, Running experiments when needed for investigation
Making demo cartridges running 3d printer
Packaging instruments
Maintaining lab equipment such as detection and PCR rigs
Ordering, posting and receiving consumables and equipment
Instrument fault reports (using QS-reg 028 Pivot Table)
Instrument fault finding and stress testing. -Help find a repeat UI bugs - this has always required lots of time and effort.
Commissioning of equipment
Deep cleans and maintenance records for eng and io lab
