Marketing Automation Analyst/Database Marketer

Project background:
The team is working on setting up a new marketing automation environment Selligent and a new data platform (Azure). All current campaigns must be transferred from the old data platform (Teradata) and old marketing automation platform (SAS CI) to the new environment. We are looking for support for this team in building the data elements.
The Client Analytics department is the center of expertise in the field of management information and advanced analytics within the corporate bank. You aggregate and combine your data from different sources - internal and external. Is the correct data not available? Then you work out with the data engineer how you got this, and you collect it yourself.
The CX team within Client Analytics is responsible for setting up marketing automation campaigns and making data about customer interactions available via reports and dashboards. Based on this, we advise our stakeholders, we realize a good experience for the customer, and we increase service and sales conversion.
At our head office in Amsterdam, you work together with 9 other Customer Experience data analysts. The team falls within Client Analytics, where about 36 colleagues work agile. The team works a lot together on small and large projects to serve our customers as well as possible with smart solutions. It is an open team with a good atmosphere where a lot of emphasis is placed on your development and many social team building activities are also organized.

Assignment context and description of activities:
For marketing automation activities, we use many channels (email, bank mail, leads, Direct Mail, SEA, Display) to provide customers with relevant propositions and service messages. Building a central optimization of campaigns by, among other things, smart algorithms, and a feedback loop of the results ensure that the customer is central, and you learn from every message that is displayed. To achieve this goal, you contribute to building a new Marketing Automation platform with the focus on unlocking data via a new data platform.

Responsibilities:
* Apply mass-scale personalization through marketing automation.
* Support in the scope of marketing automation campaigns, by mapping the required data elements.
* Describing the requirements/queries for these data elements: how should the raw data be modelled as input for marketing automation.
* Support in modelling the data in data modelling tools (eg, Erwin)
* Collaboration with data engineers to have the necessary data modelled and their work validated.
* Coordination with other departments that also make data elements accessible for marketing automation.
* Implement marketing automation campaigns in Selligent.
* You are customer-oriented, analytical and perfectionist, with a sense of reality.
* You have experience as a BI specialist and have experience in unlocking data for marketing automation campaigns.
* As a marketing automation specialist within the bank, you have the drive, and you see the opportunities to constantly innovate and improve both the solutions for the customer and yourself.
* But: you never lose sight of the risks. As a team player, working together is second nature. You enjoy working hard in a hectic environment but can also put work into perspective from time to time.

Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level

* WO working and thinking level.
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a marketing automation analyst/database marketer
* Experience with implementing marketing automation tooling Selligent and Tealium (or applications such as SAS CI Studio, Adobe, Unica or Relay42).
* Extensive experience with data processing, modelling, warehouses, quality, modelling, and analysis.
* Experienced with SQL (Databricks) and common BI tools (preferably PowerBI) to process data, analyze and develop dashboards.
* Advisory skills.
