Description
Our client require an experienced Technical Project Manager (Outside IR35) who's primary task is to assist with the delivery of a software development project that will culminate in a large customer facing demonstration in the UK. The opportunity is relevant to Technical Project Managers who have delivered software development projects eg web based. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager who has overall responsibility for the delivery. Indicative experience; managing scrum software development teams, good organisation skills and good at tracking dependencies which will be essential for arranging the demonstration that will be performed at customer premises within the UK in mid-July.
Main responsibilities:
Scrum master of a multi-disciplinary sprint team including UI, modelling and Back End engineers, Using Jira to track sprints and progress using basic Jira reports such as version or sprint reports, Analysing the resource profile against work remaining to check plan to completion, Managing and chasing up dependencies within the project team, between internal teams and external subcontractors, Escalating blockers to the Senior Project Manager, Providing input in to the project progress reporting, Managing logistics for the end of project demonstration for things such as equipment transportation and hotel bookings.
