Senior Voice Design Engineer (Cloud Trading Systems) - London
Contract:- 6 months
Rate:- to £400-£425 p/day inside IR35
Location:- Client Site based, Central London (City)
Voice Trading Platforms, Cloud based Trading Systems, IPC Unigy, BT Systems, SIP, Design, Documentation, Testing, Cloud based Integration.
Global Financial Company is looking for an experienced Trading Voice Design Engineer to work within its Global Trader Voice Engineering Team.
You will assist with the evaluation, testing and certification of new products and services and deliver new cloud based services to meet the business and user requirements.
As part of a global organisation there will be considerable interaction with the global teams and require you to build strong working and collaborative relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of engineered services and solutions.
This is a technical and hands-on role, rather than project management, and ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate they hold this hands on experience in order to be considered.
Experiences Required:-
- 5 years minimum engineering experience of trader voice platforms and services
- Experience with on-prem trader voice systems - IPC Unigy, BT systems
- General networking experience
- Good technical documentation skills (Test documentation, Detailed Designs)
- Good communication skills, able to articulate complex technical issues to global technical and management teams
- Strong customer facing skills, able to interact with business teams and articulate non-technical content
- Able to manage workload to meet strict project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services organisations
- Experience engineering or design of cloud trader voice (desired but not essential)
- Experience engineering or design of carrier SIP services
- Experience engineering or design of Voice Recording services
