Data Manager (Manchester or Remote) - Contract
I am currently recruiting for a Data Manager to join my Manchester based client on an initial 14 month contract. This role is Outside IR35.
As the successful Data Manager, you will be a critical member of a Core System Transformation Programme leadership team, specifically managing the Data Workstream, accountable for the successful delivery of all aspects of data.
Day to day accountabilities will include:
- Leading the Data Workstream for the Programme, closely collaborating with the Project Manager, SI Partners, Data Business Analyst and Workstream Leads.
- Acting as the key connection point between the project and the group Data & Loyalty leadership, ensuring that appropriate engagement and approval is obtained for the planned outcomes.
- Working with the Project Manager, SI and Data BA to ensure that all data activity is completed in line with group data strategy. This will include data cleansing, data migration, integration, data architecture, data governance, operational reporting, Business Intelligence and ongoing data management.
- Responding to data queries, ratifying issue resolution and raising escalation points as appropriate within the project or within the group Data & Loyalty.
- Reporting into the programme on progress up to exec level.
