Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Full Stack - Java developer, a 12 month contract, PAYE for a client in Glasgow paying up to £450 - £490 a day, remote work during covid.
The Assignment
Our financial services client is looking for a senior Full Stack Java Developer, to build innovative testing frameworks and tools to automate all types of testing. Working in a Global Transaction Reporting Team, this is a great opportunity to be creative. You will be expected to deliver work of a high technical standard, mentoring others within the team to ensure a similar quality is attained, and to be an ambassador for good testing practices throughout the team.
Our client has a large team, supporting several reporting applications and place a strong focus on Quality Assurance. As our client increases our focus on automated testing, our client is investing heavily in this area.
Skills required:
* Java (including Java 8 and Spring)
* SQL (we use DB2 and Greenplum)
* Experience of scrum and agile methodologie
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Angular Experience
