D365 Consultant/Developer (DynamicsAX/Dynamics365) - F&O - Immediate Start - Contract
Outside of IR35!
The successful candidate will be passionate about technology and software development and will provide expertise in the customisation, extension and enhancement of DynamicsAX/Dynamics365 Finance & Operations applications built upon the Microsoft Dynamics platform. Should have 6+ years of relevant experience worked on D365 and should have been involved in more than three D365 implementations.
The successful candidate would also be responsible for:
- Producing estimates and detailed designs for proposed solutions;
- Exploiting the Dynamics platform and utilising the inbuilt capabilities;
- Developing high quality solutions in X++, including the implementation and testing of changes and customisations;
- Acting as a technical subject matter expert for functional consultants, sales and customers
- Configuring Dynamics AX environments for development, testing and production use
- Providing release management and deployment guidance
- Developing high quality reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
- Participating in the full development life cycle (requirements capture, architecture, design, implementation, test and deployment);
- Providing high quality support to clients once solutions are deployed.
- Development experience in Microsoft Dynamics365 along with knowledge on Azure stack and Microsoft Office365 required
- Knowledge of Power BI, Azure, SharePoint is beneficial.
- Power Portal and focus in web applications
As well as expert Dynamics AX/D365 development skills and experience, the successful candidate will have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills coupled with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, delivering a wide range of services to our clients. They will have experience of:
- Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations/Talent
- X++ and C#, including performance optimisation, troubleshooting AX components and LCS environment monitoring;
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
- Object Oriented Design;
- Complex data migrations and associated tools;
- System integrations using Web Services, oData, SOAP, JSON, SSIS;
- SQL including the monitoring and performance tuning of queries;
- SQL Server Reporting Services Report Building.
