Our global financial services client are looking for experienced data and devops engineers who have experience within data streaming programmes. They are building a new team within their data streaming function that will be responsible for the organisation's Real Time data feeds and over all capability that will significantly modernise their product offerings.
They will be using the likes of Kafka, CDC, NiFi to source and integrate data from older Legacy systems to cloud based platforms. They want a mix of consultants from both a software/data and devops background as platforms/systems continue to be built, enhanced, modified and supported. They will also be accelerating significantly moving off prem to cloud as the year progresses.
This would be remote across the UK for the foreseeable, an initial 6 months but will extend well into next year. The rates are competitive and can be flexible dependent upon experience and location - it will be inside IR35.
