Project Coordinator - Engineering - Contract - 6 months - Glasgow.
My client, a leading Pharmaceutical company, is looking for an experienced Project Co-ordinator that has previously working in an Engineering or Mechanical environment. This post is to provide project-engineering support to coordinate activities between equipment
vendors, controls system vendors and facilities/civils contractors. The post holder will have day-today oversight on installation, handover and resolution of technical issues. Additionally, the post holder will coordinate scoping of expansion of the plant capability, developing user requirement specifications for plant expansion, coordinate and interface with vendors for tender of further investment.
Specific Duties:
* Provide day-to day coordination of facilities refurbishment, new plant installation, commissioning, training, de-bugging and handover.
* Liaise with equipment vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain delivery schedule
* Develop user requirement specifications for future CAPEX investment and capability expansion
* Liaise with vendors to build cost estimates for future CAPEX investments.
* Provide technical management of public tendering and assessment for future CAPEX investments.
Person Specification:
Essential Criteria:
* Experience in developing CAPEX projects
* Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
* Experience of developing user requirement specifications and basic Front End engineering design
* Experience of managing and coordinating multiple vendors and suppliers to deliver process plant
