Description
3rd Line Engineers - Outside IR35 - Home based/Nottingham - Rate £350 - £450pday.
My client is looking for 5 Global 3rd Line Support Engineers with one or more of the following - Informatica, Linux, Oracle, Java.
- These profiles require the equivalent, by technology, of Microsoft Certified Professionals.
- They need to be hands-on doers, eg using admin rights to troubleshoot and fix problems
- These roles are about keeping the lights on'
- The Engineers they are backfilling for are still available to answer questions regarding the specifics of how my client operate their support
- Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure,
- networking and server/desktop remediation
- These roles are based in the UK but there may be a need to provide support for their US customers
- Working as part of a team, supporting with helpdesk tickets as required or when escalated,
- liaising with people across the business at all levels,
- Potential areas of work
- ensure the support and maintenance of the clients components/application on their customer's solution in accordance with the relevant SLA's
- Day-to-day running and maintenance of our server environment and issues
- Installing, upgrading, supporting, and troubleshooting any hosted applications
- Designing system configuration
- Directing system installation
- Enforcing network standards
Skills required will be one or more of the following
- Informatica
- Oracle
- Linux
- Java
